Releases
- 0.24.0 · 18 Oct 2026
- More definitions sourced from the papers (344 open values, down from 467), a plain account of what was changed in the data and what was not (Methods §4), a panel in Check your run that shows which answer would make the most extra curves fair to compare, a fix to the downloadable files (the redshift of 91 parametric curves was wrong in the CSV and JSON), and Safari and Firefox support.
- 0.23.0 · 16 Oct 2026
- The dials page: turn the four feedback dials of two simulated universes and read in a sentence what agrees and what refuses; match one to the other and see what moved. Check your own run opens from a link, has an example and states the range of offsets against comparable curves. A new study asks whether the two universes can agree on every galaxy property at once (they cannot), with the gaps in dex and fractions. New front page, glossary and FAQ.
- 0.22.0 · 14 Oct 2026
- A study of what retuning can change in the cosmic star formation history: published simulations show no detectable growing disagreement at early times, and retuning four feedback dials brings the two codes within the scatter between seeds. New data: IllustrisTNG model variants and FLAMINGO, and the star formation history of 2,054 CAMELS simulations.
- 0.21.0 · 14 Oct 2026
- A pre-specified test of whether matching definitions (IMF, scatter, aperture) closes the gap between simulated stellar mass functions: not detected, and the test could not have seen an effect of the measured size. New within-run aperture curves for EAGLE and COLIBRE.
- 0.20.0 · 13 Oct 2026
- NewHorizon stellar mass functions at four epochs; new curves for COLIBRE, FIREbox, FIRE-2 and NIHAO; an automatic screen that compares every curve with the median of the others.
